Today - Daily Planner is a Commercial app. This SERVICE is provided by Today and is intended for use as is.

This page is used to inform visitors regarding our policies with the collection, use, and disclosure of Personal Information if anyone decided to use our Service.

If you choose to use our Service, then you agree to the collection and use of information in relation to this policy. The Personal Information that we collect is used for providing and improving the Service. We will not use or share your information with anyone except as described in this Privacy Policy.

The terms used in this Privacy Policy have the same meanings as in our Terms and Conditions, which is accessible at Today - Digital Agenda unless otherwise defined in this Privacy Policy.

Information Collection and Use

For a better experience, while using our Service, we may require you to provide us with certain personally identifiable information, including but not limited to name, e-mail, profile picture. This applies to social login with Google. We only have access to the data you agree to when signing up with Google. Only your name, email and profile picture are saved and are only used to give you a more personal experience.

Google User Data

Today - Daily Planner uses Google Sign-In for authentication purposes. Additionally, we offer an optional Google Calendar API integration that allows you to display your calendar events in your personal planner. This section describes how we access, use, store, and share Google user data in compliance with the Google API Services User Data Policy and Google APIs Terms of Service.

Google Sign-In (Authentication): When you choose to sign in with Google, we access the following information from your Google account through Google's OAuth 2.0 authentication service:

• Your name (display name)
• Your email address
• Your profile picture

This authentication data is accessed only with your explicit consent during the Google Sign-In process. Signing in with Google does not grant us access to your calendar data.

Google Calendar API (Optional Integration): If you choose to connect your Google Calendar to the Service, we access the following information from your Google Calendar through the Google Calendar API:

• Your calendar events (title, date, time, and description) from your Google Calendar

Calendar access is a separate, optional feature that requires your explicit consent. You can choose to use the Service without connecting your Google Calendar. If you do connect your calendar, you can revoke this access at any time through your Google Account settings or within the Service.

Data Usage: The Google user data we access is used exclusively for the following purposes:

Authentication Data (from Google Sign-In):

• Account Creation and Management: To create and manage your account, allowing you to securely sign in to our Service across all platforms (web, iOS, and Android).
• Personalization: To provide you with a personalized experience by displaying your name and profile picture within the application interface.
• Account Identification: To identify your account and associate your subscription and user-generated content with your account.

Calendar Data (from Google Calendar API, if connected):

• Calendar Display: To display your Google Calendar events in your personal planner, allowing you to view your scheduled events alongside your tasks, notes, and other agenda items. Calendar events are displayed in read-only format for your reference.

We do not use Google user data for advertising, marketing, or any other commercial purposes beyond providing the core Service functionality.

Data Storage: Google user data is stored securely on our servers as follows:

Authentication Data: Your name, email, and profile picture (from Google Sign-In) are stored in our database (Firestore) and are:

• Associated with a unique user ID that is separate from your Google account identifier.
• Retained only for as long as your account is active. You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time.
• Protected by Firebase security rules and industry-standard security measures provided by Google Cloud Platform.

Calendar Data: If you choose to connect your Google Calendar, calendar events are NOT stored in our database. Calendar events are fetched directly from Google Calendar API as needed when you access your planner. We do not cache or store your calendar event data on our servers.

Data Sharing: We do not share, sell, or disclose your Google user data to any third parties except in the following limited circumstances:

• When required by law or legal process, or to protect our rights and the safety of our users.
• With service providers who assist us in operating our Service (such as hosting providers), who are contractually obligated to maintain the confidentiality and security of your data.

We do not transfer Google user data to third parties for advertising or marketing purposes.

Data Processing: We process Google user data only to the extent necessary to provide authentication and account management services. We do not perform any automated decision-making or profiling using Google user data.

Your Rights: You have the right to:

• Access the Google user data we have stored about you by contacting us at contact@digitalagenda.app.
• Request deletion of your Google user data by deleting your account or contacting us directly.
• Revoke Google's authorization to share your data with us through your Google Account settings at myaccount.google.com/permissions.

Subscription and Payment Information

Today - Daily Planner offers yearly and monthly subscription plans. A single subscription grants you access to the Service across all supported platforms, including web, Android, and iOS. When you subscribe, payment information is processed securely through third-party payment processors (such as Apple App Store, Google Play Store, or our web payment provider). We do not store your full payment card details on our servers. Payment information is handled in accordance with the privacy policies of the respective payment processors.

We may collect and store information related to your subscription status, billing history, and account access across platforms to provide you with seamless access to the Service. This information is used solely for the purpose of managing your subscription and ensuring your access to the Service across all platforms.

The data you generate while using our Service is privately saved under an unique ID and don't have your name, e-mail or profile pictured attached to it.

Log Data

We want to inform you that whenever you use our Service, in a case of an error in the app we collect data and information (through third party products) on your phone called Log Data. This Log Data may include information such as your device Internet Protocol ("IP") address, device name, operating system version, the configuration of the app when utilizing our Service, the time and date of your use of the Service, and other statistics.

Cookies

Cookies are files with a small amount of data that are commonly used as anonymous unique identifiers. These are sent to your browser from the websites that you visit and are stored on your device's internal memory.

This Service does not use these “cookies” explicitly. However, the app may use third party code and libraries that use “cookies” to collect information and improve their services. In the case we discover that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we immediately delete this from our servers. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so that we will be able to do necessary actions.
